Norma Lee Myers, 87, of Anderson, passed away on August 22, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on July 27, 1932 in Anderson to the late Vernon and Frances (Stiles) Hiles.
Norma graduated from Anderson High School in 1950. She retired from the Herald Bulletin in Delivery. She was a member of the Anderson Eastern Star. She loved her family, playing cards and board games.
She is survived by her children, Greg Myers of Lapel, James (Ellen) Myers of Englewood, Florida, William Myers of Anderson, Sarah Davis of Anderson, Scott Hiles of Bedford, Kent Hiles of Hartford City; grandchildren, Christopher (Leslie) Myers, Kelly (Terrence) Roberts, Maranda Drake, Lacey Whyte, Amanda Hernadez, Josh Myers, Allison Fulton, Kate Fulton, Trent Patterson, Telisa Jarris, Ginger Thompson, Danny Lennen, Lori Nicholson; great grandchildren, Christopher J. Myers, Jeremich Johns, Terrence Roberts Jr., Amir Roberts, Bailey Myers, Daisy Myers, Keenan Myers, Antonio Hernandez, Javier Hernandiz, Olivia Hernandez, Stephen Hernandez, Yaslene Hernandez, Emilio Hernandez, Shaelynn Whyte, Tyree Rayfort, Desirae Whyte-Alexandra Rangel, Mercedes Whyte, Me'Ryah Whyte, Donald Fulton, Nechole Jolly, Annaiza Allen; special friends, Melissa Mousa Lane, Mike Ogle, Marlene Hodson, and several nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James G. Myers; daughters, Susan Elaine McClendon, Captain Lisa Hiles of the United States Navy, and brother Vernon Hiles.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the American Legion Post 127, 4118 Columbus Ave, Anderson, IN 46013.
